ITINERARY
High octane period ahead.
Cast of Orfeus heads off to the Wilderness for 5 days to get depth into the piece we’ve been rehearsing the last 4 days, into the forest for that undergrowth energy.
Get back on Tues 7th and i head off for Hannover for a few days to map out the set in a vast abandoned Nazi army barracks overgrown with German forest and weeds on the outskirts of that city.
Then off to Prague for 10 days to exhibit a new installation - Sanctuary - on child abuse and peadophilia in the Catholic church, and to serve on the jury of the Prague Quadrennial - international exhibition of scenography & performance design.
Then to Hannover to run Orfeus at the Theaterformen Festival.
Then to Brussels to open Nicky Newman’s film about me and TWB.
Then to some German Festival somewhere, i forget, for 4 days.
Then back to Brussels for 2 weeks to begin researching EXHIBIT B: paradis perdu - the story of atrocities and exploitation by the French and Belgians in their COngo territories 100-odd years ago.
Then to Kinshasa and Brazzaville for 10 days each to continue research.
Home mid-August in time to see my spring bulbs emerge.
